Year of the Dragon 2012

2012 is the Year of the Yang Water Dragon. It will start on January 23, 2012 and ends February 9, 2013.

In ancient China, the celestial dragon represents the imperial sign of the emperor, which means a symbol of power. According to tradition the Dragon brings in the Four Blessings of the East - wealth, virtue, harmony and longevity. At present the Dragon signifies happiness, good fortune and success.

Get ready to fire up and fly with the dragon! Happy New Year to all!!!

Untitled

“Everything in life is connected somehow. You may have to dig deep to find it but its there. Everything is the same even though its different. Somehow everything connects back with your life. The faces in certain places may be different, but the situation is the same. Irony is a hidden factor that creeps around us in life, letting its presence felt only after it has left. Picture back to a year ago and the situation you were in. Look at how things are different yet somehow everything it still in someway cognate. Everything connects together to form the balance of life, to maintain structure. Change is and always will be inevitable, but everything is relative, and all the moments and times in your life will come back around again, you just might find yourself on the other side of the coin. Things are always changing, as fast as everything stays the same.”

My Year-Ender Post

This year, instead of remembering and writing down my memories of 2011, I'll just simply thank the Lord for everything that I gained and lost. I don't need to say or list down every little thing. I can't say that I am a stronger, wiser or a better person but I know that I have emerged as a well-rounded individual, a more compassionate person, more understanding and loving. I'll leave 2011 and welcome 2012 with a big smile on my face. I won't look back in the past, I won't worry about the future but I'll definitely live the present and make it beautiful! ^_^

I am not afraid of tomorrow, for I have seen yesterday and I love today.

Busy as a Bee

Finally, I now have a chance to update my blog. I've been so busy for the past  two weeks and will still be very busy for the coming weeks. The reason behind that is... (drum roll please! hehehe), I am back to being a working mom again and I'm so happy. I enjoy what I do, so no matter how hectic my schedule is right now, I'm still smiling. ^_^
