Yesterday, was another day spent at my son's school. We paid his tuition fee, bought school supplies, book supplies, P.E. uniform, basically every thing that he needs in school. After doing all that we then went to the mall and bought his top to bottom essentials, like his leather shoes, rubber shoes, underwear, socks and etc. Husband and I let him choose his preferred footwear, while we patiently waited; comfortably sitting on a cushioned bench.
Shoe size problem. He was not able to buy his first choice of shoes because most of the available shoes in kid's section won't fit him. Talking about big foot! Mr. Salesman brought him to the teen section. Finally, after 1 hour he bought two pairs of shoes. He's growing so fast, and I'm not so surprised! I guess it's with the genes. My brother is 6 foot 3 and most of the men in our family are really tall. For the women, I think I'm the only exception because I'm only 5'3" (160cm). That's why they call me "bansot".
Anyway, there's only one thing that I missed to buy and that is a bigger beverage bottle for my son. Last year, he used Thermos' Vacuum Insulated Hydration bottle. It has a double wall vacuum insulation for maximum temperature retention. Problem is the capacity, you can only put 18oz of water in it, which is not applicable for my son's amount of water consumption during school hours. Although there are several cool drinking water fountain in their school, I'm not so sure if it's really safe.
